London Youth Symphony Chamber Winds

The LYS Chamber Winds was established to give flute, oboe, clarinet, and bassoon students ensemble skills in a small group setting. This fulfills a need in the community to provide an opportunity to supplement the musical learning already received in the schools and private lessons.

Through weekly rehearsals, exploring different styles of music, and regular performance opportunities students discover the tools needed to become good chamber music players. These skills have helped many of our members successfully audition and become valuable members of the London Youth Symphony.
